St Paul’s College is delighted to invite you to a celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday 6 May 2023.
Commencing at 5.30pm in the Chapel with a concert by the St Paul’s College Chapel Choir of coronation anthems, from ‘Zadok the Priest’ to ‘I was glad’. The concert will feature David Drury on the organ, as well as a brass and percussion ensemble from the Sydney Symphony and Opera Australia Orchestra.
A black tie Royal Formal Dinner will follow, featuring performances of your favourite numbers from Victoriana! From Rule Britannia, Road to Mandalay and of course…Land of Hope and Glory!
Following the dinner, the evening will conclude with a live broadcast of the Coronation on an outdoor cinema in the Quadrangle from 8pm. Bring your friends and a picnic rug (outdoor chairs provided), and enjoy a grazing hamper or a bottle of wine from the St Paul’s Bar watching this once in a generation festive occasion!
